can radiation cause cancer and leukemia or even death?
Absolutely.
Radiation in LOW levels is capable of damaging DNA codons enough to cause cells to divide rampantly, of which is known as the dreaded malignant cancer! An example of this is the sun, which is constantly emitting radiation in low levels.
High levels of radiation increase the rate of the DNA damage exponentially, as radiation is one of the most dangerous mutagens you might encounter.

If cell phone use is causing you all of these symptoms, then obviously you need to discontinue their use.
There is no medically established link between cancer and cell phones, but since cell phones are a relatively new product, no one can say what the medical opinion of them will be 10 or 20 years from now.
Many people use a wired headphone set, so they don’t have to hold the cell phone directly against their head. Whatever you do, don’t use those wireless headphones that are literally screwed into your ear.
my dad keeps telling me to keep my cell phone out of my pocket because he thinks the radiation from the phone will rub up on my balls or somethin’. any truth to this?
no hes just giving you a hard time for having a cell. There is not even radiation given off by a cell phone its electricity. and even if there was it would be too weak to cause any damage.
You can block electromagnetic waves by either st oping the magnetic field part (which is difficult to do, but there are such materials; Mu-metal for example), or the electric field part. To block the electric field, you just need a good conductor. As an EM wave hits a sheet of copper, it will cause electrons near the sheet’s surface to move to cancel the electric field. (E=0 in a good conductor) These moving electrons constitute surface currents that setup a new electromagnetic wave traveling away from the surface. This is basically how the EM wave is reflected from the surface, blocking whatever is behind the surface from the EM radiation.
There are RF absorbent materials that they use to line anechoic chambers, and these are usually some kind of solid foam material with carbon granules embedded in it. Also, these foams are sometimes shaped with pyramid shaped spikes sticking out that will cause any RF energy that does get reflected to hit another spike. In this way the foam "traps" most of the RF energy until it is absorbed by the carbon granules.
Can it cause cancer and other things like brain tumors?
The phone companies did a long test, spending millions of doallars, and did not find evedence to prove that cell phones are safe, and then went about designing them to have a lower wattage antenna, so that they replaced all the old ones now.
I think that they are not good for you – but you decide.
Are cell phones safe?
Well Version says not to carry them in your front pocket, as sperm counts can be reduced. So I am glad that I put my wallet between my leg and phone, so any energy will radiate outwards.
I would recommend using a cord type earpiece if you use the phone more than 30 minutes a day. This will keep the antenna more than 12" away from your body.
Why not a blue tooth? Well that is a radio that sits on your ear. Duuu. With a power cord, there will be NO radio waves. Even though the Blue Tooth is about 5% of the power of a cell phone radio, how many hours a day do most people wear them? Over 1 hour at at time? Usually the answer is yes AND the antenna is transmitting all the time it is on your ear.
As for computer radiation, most people have energy efficient flat screens today, not the old fashion tube TV, so you are really safe with that kind.
The computer typically will have a Wi-Fi antenna, and that range is usually less than 1/4 mile, so you can compare it with a 1/2 watt cell phone and it’s typical 5 mile range, and say that the wattage of Wi Fi must be fairly low.

We use cell phones on a daily basis but not while driving. We had twin 17 year old girls killed by a cell phone user in 2002. Cell phone use and texting has only gotten worse since then. They cost lives every day. We have heard all the arguments so save your time. People do have other distractions but you will notice cell phone use is the absolute most common. Everybody sees it and frowns upon it but they do it anyway. If these videos save one life then it was all worth it.
